Background

Eton Shirts is a Swedish company famous for their premium quality mens’ shirts, ties and accessories. Founded in 1928, Eton has grown from a small town business to a globally recognized brand with offices around the world.

Eton’s Head of Legal David Köröndi is in charge of everything from corporate governance to managing risk, insurances, contracts and compliance. He spends a lot of time dealing with the intricacies of international legislature – going global requires keeping local requirements in mind.

Challenge

When David started at Eton, everything was pretty much pen-and-paper. Any digital archive was more an unorganized dumping ground of documents. Managing contract lifecycles was tedious at best.

Something definitely had to change – and urgently, as Eton was expanding and needed to have over 1000 contracts signed.

“We definitely didn’t have time to scan and archive that many copies, so we sat down and looked at contract management options that fit our needs,” David explains.

Eton started with a provider but their solution left David and the team wanting. “We needed more than just a drafting tool – being able to archive contracts was a key requirement. Precisely fit the bill perfectly.”

Solution

“In terms of drafting contracts, Precisely matched the platform we were using. But when it came to archiving and looking at the bigger picture – the entire contracting lifecycle – Precisely was simply the best option”, David says. “The archiving function is more intuitive, with smart search and grouping.”

And of course, there’s more than just the product. The people behind it can drastically add to the success.

“Precisely’s service mindset has been amazing. Everyone using the platform thinks that the onboarding process was easy. Even people who aren’t as tech-savvy could follow along.”

We’re very happy with the constant development and improvements, which are key as both our company and the way we do business grows and evolves.
